Are you feeling depressed? Lost?
Confused at your purpose in life?
Well, join the club.
This world is designed to chew us up and spit us out, whether you realize it or not.
And then there’s the things we do to ourselves, causing our own dysfunction through bad decisions and lack of proper fear of our Creator, God.
While Jesus tells us it’s right to fear God, he also tells us NOT to fear the things in this world (Mat 6:25-34, 10:24-33). Did you know that God’s Son said He came to seek and save the lost? (Luke 19:1-10)
Did you know He understands our every pain and temptation?! (Heb 2:14-18, 4:14-16)
And Jesus Himself, as The Great Shepherd, is willing to leave the 99 “healthy” sheep (Prov 20:9,Rom 3:10-12) on the hill to go search for the one who is lost and has no hope!
Is that you?
It was me, and it was many of us at one time.
But the point is that He would have come into this world to die for only one(4only1)… that’s the heart of God in Jesus Christ!
This is far beyond any form of human love. Why? – Because believers were told that He died for them “while we were His enemies” (Rom 5:6-10). Do you know anyone willing to die for their enemies??!
Jesus often used parables (comparison stories with one main message) to illustrate for us the love of God:
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. What do you think?
If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?
And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. – Matt 18:10-14
The Lord Jesus Christ also said this:
I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.
For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”
– John 10:14-18
Our hope is that you allow the Lord to find you!
We hope that you listen for His voice calling you.
He has a divine purpose and a plan for you, if you’re willing to surrender to him in humble, repentant faith.
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”
So he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. – Luke 15:1-7
This again wonderfully illustrates the point of this home page – He would have come and died even to save only 1 person from their sins!
Welcome to CHRIST SAVES Ministries, where we believe He would have come “4 only 1″!
We desire to help reveal Jesus Christ as the one true Hope of rescue, as revealed in The Holy Bible.
May God richly bless you as you search through the contents of our site.
Now the question is:
Are you one of His sheep??
Are you WILLING to be one of His sheep?? It’s between each of us and the Lord.
To figure that out, check this out: Face to Face
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. – Heb 13:20-21
Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
– Acts 16:30-31
In the love of Christ,
